Established in 1980 to work exclusively on the restoration of buildings, Stap is an SME with a strong knowledge and innovation focus. It seeks to respond effectively to market needs by providing specialised construction and structural services.
Due to the specific and diverse nature of its intervention techniques, which are significantly different from those used in construction and public works, since 1996 the company has been making organization and structuring efforts to establish a Quality Management System (QMS). The QMS obtained its APCER certification in 1999 for "structure repair, consolidation, and alteration", completing its transition to the NP EN ISO 9001:2000 standard in 2003.
In 2007, Stap's revenues exceeded 12 million Euros. Ranking among the top Portuguese SMEs in the same field, Stap is the only independent
from the large domestic construction companies. With capital and reserves
close to 3 million Euros, and employing 73 highly motivated staff who are more highly qualified than the industry's average, Stap is well-prepared to maintain its position as one of the best in its segment.
This is what Stap has to offer:
QUALITY Due to the specific nature of the techniques and materials used, Stap implements its Quality System throughout its projects to ensure the effectiveness of the intervention and the durability of the results.
TECHNOLOGY With its qualified personnel, the proper equipment and more than two decades of experience in solving problems involving the pathology and restoration of buildings, Stap is fully qualified to apply the most suitable techniques in each situation.
INNOVATION The search for the best solutions requires the ability to innovate, supported by the continuous monitoring of the international renovation market and the company's own research and development efforts.
