The intervention involved the structural reinforcement of the “Refroidisseur” building at the “Asment Cimenterie” Factory in Temara.

Steps and techniques used

The work consisted of adding structural reinforcements using steel plates and profiles to the reinforced concrete elements. The main phases of the project were as follows: preparation of the concrete surfaces in the areas of contact with the steel plates and profiles; drilling of the concrete to install metal anchors or threaded rods; positioning of the metal components and their fixation using anchors; and injection of epoxy resin.
